Home > Using Centric Project > Using the Dashboard tab > Using the Calendar page > Working with project milestones > Adding and updating Microsoft Project schedule milestones
If you publish a Microsoft Project schedule to the project workspace, you can add milestones from the Microsoft Project schedule to the project calendar. Centric Project adds all milestones in the published Microsoft Project schedule to the project calendar and assigns you as the milestone's owner.
All project users who have access to the project calendar will be able to view the Microsoft Project milestones that you publish to the calendar. Milestones also appear in each user's My Dashboard window.
Note: Publishing Microsoft Project schedules as structured data requires Author permission for the project. Therefore, only project Authors can add milestones to the calendar with this method.
Publish the Microsoft Project schedule to the project workspace. The MsProject Publish wizard appears.
In the wizard, turn on Publish Milestones to Project Calendar.
Complete the rest of the publishing process. Centric Project adds the Microsoft Project schedule milestones to the project calendar.
Microsoft Project milestones are automatically updated in the project calendar if the Microsoft Project files are republished. If a milestone is no longer in the Microsoft Project schedule, it is also removed from the project calendar.
If the publisher chooses not to republish the Microsoft Project file milestones to the calendar, all previously published milestones are removed so that the Microsoft Project and project calendar milestones are synchronized.
