What is InfoBundler?

InfoBundler is an application that lets you create or modify compound documents (also referred to as "bundled files"). Bundled files are moved as a unit between Centric Project Server and your desktop. This is particularly useful for CAD files, where a base or master file requires one or more dependent, external reference files for viewing. When a project user views a bundled file that has been published to a project workspace, the bundle's master file is launched automatically.

You can also use InfoBundler to create indexed document sets (work packages). When a project user views a bundled file that is set up as an indexed document set in a project workspace, a list of files appears. The user can then select an individual file in the displayed set to launch it.

When you download a bundled file, the files in the bundle are automatically extracted by the InfoBundler into the specified folder. Once the target folder has been specified the whole process is transparent to the user.
